Beckerman's 7-Inning Gem All for Not After Gordon's Grand Slam
After a 1-0 pitchers' dual headed in the bottom of the 8th, the Shockers' David Gordon hit a grand slam to break open the game. Jon Beckerman pitched the game of the season for the Tigers, going 7 innings, striking out 9, and not allowing any runs. Beckerman dominated the Shockers all game with his location of pitches and with his ability to change speeds. He gave up only 3 hits through his 7 innings, before giving way to Matt Wabby to start the 8th. Beckerman was also responsible for the Tigers' 1-0 lead with his solo homerun in the 3rd inning.
